Ejide makes it seven clean slates in Israel

The Super Eagles second choice goalkeeper has extended his unbeaten run to seven games in the Israeli league
Nigeria goalkeeper Austin Ejide was in splendid form for his Israeli club Hapoel Beer Sheva at the weekend as they shared the points with Hapoel Ra'anana at the Arthur Vasermil Stadium.

The former Bastia player who boasts of 25 caps for the Super Eagles has been a regular in Elisha Levy’s squad and was invincible against Hapoel Ra'anana which ended in stalemate.

Ejide has now kept the most clean sheets in Israel this season, one ahead of the duo of Maccabi Tel Aviv's Juan Pablo and Hapoel Ra'anana's Gal Nir who both have not conceded in six games.

Hapoel Beer Sheva are currently placed second on the log with 28 points from 13 games, one point adrift of leaders Maccabi Tel Aviv who host Hapoel Tel Aviv on Monday.
