Nigerians itching to watch the Super Eagles will have to pay through their nose if they are to have access to their darling teamMatch ticket prices have gone up at an alarming rate barely hours to the Super Eagles' World Cup qualifier against Ethiopia.
The popular side ticket which is sold for N1000 is now on sale for N2000 while N4000 and N6000 rates for regular and VIP tickets are now being sold at N7000 and N10,000 respectively.
Many Calabar fans have voiced out their anger at the exorbitant rate at which match tickets are sold and have called on the Cross River Government to do something about it so that many fans won't be denied the opportunity of watching their darling team.
All those that Goal spoke with have threatened to boycott the game if the prices are not reduced and reverted back to their old rates.
Nigeria's Super Eagles will qualify if they play at least a goalless draw against the Ethiopians on Saturday.
