The trial of Mahmud Tukur, son of the National Chairman of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, Bamanga Tukur, has been fixed for February 24th 2014.
Mr. Tukur is charged alongside Alex Ochonogor, Abdullahi Alao, and Eterna Oil Ltd for fuel subsidy fraud amounting to N1.2 billion.
The suspects had been arraigned last year before Justice Adeniyi Onigbanjo before the judge was transferred out of the court’s Criminal Division.
