APGA suspends Okorocha

Imo State governor, Rochas Okorocha, has been suspended by the leadership of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) over alleged anti-party activities.

Though details surrounding the suspension of the governor are still sketchy as of the time of filing this report, it will be recalled that the party had been embroiled in crisis.

There appears to be no end in sight over the leadership tussle which has marred the image of the party in recent times.

The two combatants, who reportedly were waging legal battles over the national chairmanship position, Chiefs Victor Umeh and Maxi Okwu, were said to be brandishing three key court judgments/rulings to justify their claim to the post of national chairman of the party.
