UEFA shortlists ten for European best player award

European Football governing body,UEFA ,have shortlisted ten players for the European best player award. 

2013 UEFA Champions League winners,Bayern Munich,have the highest entries with four players on the list. 

England contributed two players to the list,with Spain also having two players,while Germany had an additional player,taking them top of the countries with the highest players at five,with the last player coming from France.

 

The players are: Gareth Bale,Cristiano Ronaldo,Zlatan Ibrahimović,Robert  Lewandowski,Lionel Messi,Thomas Müller,Franck Ribéry,Arjen Robben,Bastian Schweinsteiger and Robin Van Persie. 

Andres Iniesta who is the current European best player,did not make the  final cut.
