Search engine giant Google is yet to publically launch its wearable computing device Google Glass and enough has been mocked and debated about its privacy issues and potential misuse.Even if Google Glass is developed to be strictly anti-porn, anti-nudity, and anti-profanity and user cannot search for porn or visit porn sites, the in-built camera still allows users to shoot for their own adult content, Huffington Post reports.Online magazine and video channel dedicated to technology, Motherboard announced that adult app company MiKandi recently sponsored a professional pornographic video shot with Google Glass and the technique was a clever end-run around Google’s ban on pornographic applications.
The report said that while the web browsing through Google Glass in general is pretty limited, Glass has a built-in camera, and email, video chat, and texting capabilities there is no way Google can prohibit users from shooting adult content.Mikandi CEO Jesse Adams said thatMotherboard’s Arikia Millikan said that although the videos shot with Google Glass can be viewed on computers or smartphones but the real thrill is watching the video made through Glass on Glass itself as the feel very intimate and personal.Millikan said that it is a shame that porn apps are banned on Glass so other users can’t experience that yet, the report added. (ANI)while developers cannot share Glass apps that serve sexually explicit content there doesn’t seem to be any terms that prohibit users from shooting their own adult content. The first pornographic movie using Google Glass technology is set for release.
The movie, starring popular porn stars James Deen and Andy San Dimas, sees two pairs of Google's eyewear being used to record scenes, The Verge reported.
The film also introduces various fictional Google Glass features, such as live sex tips, a "penis rating" feature (you read correctly) and x-ray vision.
"Immediately after hearing about it, I was like 'I want to play with it,'" Deen was quoted as saying by Vice.
It's not the first time Google Glass has been used for pornographic content, with adult app store MiKandi being pulled by Google.
