Presenter begs Osaze over Award insult

ITV presenter Adrian Chiles has rung Peter Odemwingie to apologise for calling him a ‘t**t’ at West Bromwich’s awards evening – but his future at the club is becoming increasingly precarious.
Last week West Brom boss Steve Clarke blasted the TV presenter, a life-long club fan, who joked that the ‘tweet of the year’ award for the striker should be renamed ‘t**t of the year.’

Chiles took steps to repair the damage by ringing Odemwingie last Friday – five days after the awards dinner – but the Nigerian is understood to be unhappy with how long it took to make the apology and has reiterated to West Brom his desire to leave.
Odemwingie was fined two weeks’ wages for launching a string of attacks on the club on social networking site Twitter. That followed another fine of two weeks’ wages for driving to Loftus Road at the end of the January transfer window in an attempt to force through a move to QPR. The total fines are in the region of £150,000.
