NFF names Amodu and two others as Technical Directors

After several months of delays over who becomes the national Technical Director, the Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) have agreed to engage the services of three coaches that would help in the development of the game in the country.
Surprisingly the three coaches chosen, have once coached the national team:Amodu Shuaibu, Kashimawo Laloko and James Peters, who will collectively work as a unit to help out in all the national teams.
Three units are expected to be created in the NFF,with each of the coaches spearheading one unit to help out in the development plans and pattern of play for the country.
The NFF initially wanted to hire Belgian,Tom Saintfiet, but jettisoned the idea, after the Sports Minister,Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi kicked against it.
The Idea is to create the units for the three coaches to handle,we are thinking of one of them taking charge of the Super Eagles as a unit, then the age grades and the Women football units. The three of them are experts in these areas,” An NFF source told Complete Sports.
Meanwhile former coach of Shooting Stars,Fatai Amoo, got the nod to be named the new coach of the Under 23 national team.
Amoo and Samson Siasia, were initially shortlisted for the position, but the NFF settled for Amoo to tinker the Olympics team to the Rio 2016 games .
