Home Coming-De Gea eyes happy return

David De Gea knows three points against Real Sociedad on Tuesday night would all but secure qualification to the Champions League knockout rounds, but warns victory won't come easily against the plucky La Liga outfit.

It took an early own goal to beat Sociedad at Old Trafford last month and since then the Basque side has posted impressive home wins against Almeria (3-0) and Osasuna (5-0), while picking up an away point at Real Valladolid (2-2).

De Gea has played at Sociedad's Anoeta Stadium before, during his time at Atletico Madrid, and admits he can't wait to set foot on the turf again.

"I’m looking forward to the match a lot," he told ManUtd.com. "It’s a great stadium and San Sebastian is a very special city. I think their fans will create a very good atmosphere so it should be an enjoyable game.

"It’s always a good experience to go back to Spain and, of course, doing so wearing the Manchester United shirt makes me very proud. I’ve played for United in Spain against Madrid and Bilbao and it was very special."
