Chelsea completes Willian signing

Chelsea have completed the signing of Brazilian player,Willian from Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala.

Willian was on the verge of joining Tottenham Hotspurs and even underwent a medical,but Chelsea owner,Roman Abramovich used his connections to usurp the deal.

 

Chelsea are believed to have paid £30million for Willian and the deal is now subject to a work permit.

A Chelsea statement read: “Chelsea Football Club can confirm an agreement has been reached with both Willian and his club Anzhi Makhachkala for the transfer of the Brazilian player.

 

“The transfer is subject to a work permit hearing on Wednesday.”

Chelsea are also following up the capture of Willian,with that of his former team-mate,Samuel Eto’o,but are yet to complete a deal for the Cameroonian.
