Warri Wolves player dies in auto crash

 Warri Wolves right-back, Solomon Oboh, on Sunday died in a motor accident in Ughelli, Delta State.
Oboh, nicknamed Okoko, was involved in an accident in an that involved 18-seater commercial bus in Agbarho town in Ughelli North Local Government area, Delta State.
Agbarho town is just two kilometres away from Warri, where the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) club are based.
Spokesman for Wolves, Moses Etu, confirmed the death of Oboh to supersport.com on Monday morning.
The player, who could play in central midfield, was returning from a child dedication ceremony he attended after learning he was excluded from the Warri Wolves squad that defeated 3SC 2-1 in an NPFL match at the Warri City Stadium on Sunday.



“It’s true. Solomon passed on in an accident yesterday night. It is an unfortunate incident which Warri Wolves is very sad about,” said Etu.
Oboh was born on September 13, 1989 and played for Bisalo FC, Benin City club, Paulson FC and Delta United.
He joined Warri Wolves from Delta United and made just one league appearance for the Warri club this season in their 1-1 draw against Kaduna United on April 25.
