Kano Hezbollah Bunker - Security Uncovers Fresh Weapons

Kano — A combined team of officers of the Directorate of State Service, DSS, and soldiers drawn from 3 Brigade, Nigerian Army, has uncovered more fresh weapons of war at a private residence at 3, Gaya Road off Bompai Road Kano, where cache of deadly weapons linked to Hezbollah, the international terrorist organisation, was busted last week by the security agents.
A statement by the Joint Task Force, JTF, spokesman in Kano, Captain Ikediche Iweha, revealed that the owner of the controversial residence identified as one Abdul Hassan Taher Fadlalla, a Lebanese national, is currently out of the country.

The army spokesman further said: "After painstaking search of the whole premises, the search team uncovered an underground bunker in the master bedroom where a large quantity of assorted weapons of different types and calibre and ammunition which were properly wrapped was recovered."
According to Iweha, deadly weapons recovered from the latest operations include a cooler buried under the wardrobe which had in it, 80 indicators, five PPK pistols, 334 rounds of 7.62mm special, nine magazines, four pistol silencers, 18 36 hand grenades caps, four explosive fuses and two explosive devices.
The army spokesman, therefore, commended the citizens for their support and cooperation, as he assured the commitment of the security agents in ensuring that an atmosphere suitable for business continues to prevail.
