I will be around for Kenya - Mikel

Chelsea midfielder, John Obi Mikel, has assured the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) that he will feature in the Fifa 2014 World Cup qualifiers in June.
Nigeria will face Kenya and Namibia in Nairobi and Windhoek on June 5 and 12 respectively.
The NFF has now stated that the 26-year-old midfielder will skip the Super Eagles exhibition game against Concacaf champions, Mexico, in Houston, the USA on May 31.
“Mikel has confirmed that he will play in the World Cup qualifying matches but he will not be available for the friendly against Mexico,” said spokesman for the football federation, Ademola Olajire.

The African champions have had high-profile withdrawals ahead of their busy June schedule that will also see them take part in the Fifa Confederations Cup in Brazil.
Mikel’s teammate at Chelsea, Victor Moses as well as Kasimpasa attacking midfielder, Kalu Uche and Gabriel Reuben have opted out of the World Cup qualifiers and Confederations Cup.
