Emir of Kano Loses Wife

The Emir Of Kano Alhaji Ado Bayero has lost his wife Hajiya Rabi Ado Bayero, who was popularly known as "Uwar Soron Kano". Late Rabi Ado Bayero died on Thursday night at the age of 60 years.

She also left behind many children, including the District Head of Takai, Alhaji Bashir Ado Bayero (Dan Lawan of Kano) and Umar Ado Bayero.

The funeral prayer of the deceased was led by the Chief Imam of Kano, Professor Sani Zaharadeen and was attended by the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero, Emir of Dass, Alhaji Bilyaminu Usman and the State’s Deputy Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje. Bayero's wife, late Hajiya Rabi was buried at Kofar Kudu Cemetery within the Palace, amidst prayer for the repose of her soul.
