Bayern Munich disgraces Barcelona with a 4-0 bashing

There was no script to suggest what was on offer in the UEFA Champions League game played on Tuesday,as Bayern Munich stunned the football world,to completely anihilate Barcelona at the Allianz Arena.
The German Champions stunned the Spanish giants, defeating them 4-0 to take a healthy advantage going into the return leg of their semifinal game at the Camp Nou.
Barcelona as expected had the larger chunk of possession, but Bayern were decisive in their play,as they attacked with intent and was duly rewarded with the result,on the evidence of their input on the pitch.
Bayern got their first goal in the 25th minute after Arjen Robben’s cross was flicked on by Dante, to Thomas Muller, with the German player, sneaking in a header,to give the Bavarians the lead.
If a response was expected from Barcelona, they sure did,as a timely block by Dante, saw the defender intercept a goal-bound shot by Lionel Messi who was largely anonymous in the game.
Though the build-up to the subsequent goals, could be questioned  over their legitimacy ,it did not stop Bayern from adding the second and third goal, through Mario Gomez and Arjen Robben; but they looked to be in an offside position for the second goal, and also appeared to have fouled Jordi Alba,as they attacked for the third goal.
David Alaba made an overlapping run down the left area of the pitch, crossing a low shot that Muller  turned into the net for 4-0 in the 82nd minute giving Barcelona no room whatsoever to click into their rhythm.
Bayern have now taken full control of the semi-finals and are almost certain of making it Wembley for the finals, with only a self-destruct button set to be their undoing in the return fixture.
Their dominance of Barcelona, will definitely send a message across Europe,on their capabilities, add their new coach Pep Guardiola in the mix next season, and you will see a team that will be dreaded.
